While each of our manufacturers have their own language to describe their warranties, we summed up the general terms of these warranties here to give you a succinct overview. (There are, of course, exceptions to this generalized description. See manufacturer-specific warranties below for the complete warranty terms for your furniture!)

Most of our furniture comes with a manufacturer's limited warranty against defects in construction and workmanship under normal household use. If a defect is found during the warranty period, Creative Dinettes, Inc. will coordinate the exchange, repair or replacement of the defective merchandise, at no cost to the customer. Our manufacturers have the sole discretion to determine which method will be used to correct defects. The manufacturer warranties apply only to the original purchaser of the furniture. Manufacturer warranties do NOT apply to damages resulting from neglect, damage caused by accidental or intentional acts, institutional or commercial use, exposure to extreme or abnormal heat, cold, dryness, moisture or humidity, unauthorized repair or alteration, and misuse or abuse of the products. Manufacturer warranties also do NOT cover damage that results from normal wear including, but not limited to, scratches, burns, water marks or indentations.

Manufacturer-Specific Warranties

 

AAmerica

AAmerica warrants its furniture to be free of defects in workmanship and materials to the original consumer for the time periods listed below. This warranty only covers normal household use. Commercial or institutional use is not covered by warranty. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity, neglect, normal wear and tear, unauthorized repair, abuse or misuse of the product, handling problems within a dealers warehouse or delivery process, nor does it cover upholstered fabrics or swivel mechanisms. Deluxing and touch-up of product is not covered under warranty.

Because of the natural characteristics of solid wood furniture, minor or hairline season splits in chair seats, case tops and table tops are not covered under the Credit and Return Policy.

Should warranty service to a product become necessary, the consumer must return the product to the dealer where the product was purchased. Repairs and replacement under this warranty will be made by AAmerica or anyone AAmerica, in its discretion, authorizes, at no charge to the consumer. If the dealer or factory representative finds return to the factory necessary, packing and shipping costs to the factory will be charged to the purchaser. Return shipping will be freight prepaid to the dealer making the recommendation. The purchaser shall pay all costs for the delivery to the purchaser from the dealer.

AAmerica’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product, or providing product of equal type and quality, if a replacement is unavailable. Repair or replacement shall be authorized only when it is proven to the satisfaction of AAmerica that the product as manufactured and inspected proves defective under normal household use and service.

Amisco

AMISCO hereby warrants the welding and metal structure of its products for a period of ten (10) years of residential use. Wood products have a one (1) year limited warranty. Wood and metal products are warranted against damages caused by material and workmanship defects, occurring during a normal use and under the conditions for which the products are designed.

Among other things, this warranty excludes decorative features, upholstered seats and backrests, mattresses, support panels for mattresses, glass components, glides and other accessories. This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from improper use, care or assembly, from unauthorized repair or alteration or from negligence. This warranty does not cover transit and handling damages to products sold on the Internet or by catalogue, unless they are specifically designed and packaged for direct delivery to the consumer by AMISCO.

Under this warranty, AMISCO will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part at no cost except for transportation, handling and shipping costs which will be charged to the purchaser. The replacement parts are included in this warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.

This is a limited warranty, any defect not specifically covered herein is excluded. Where allowed under the law, AMISCO disclaims liability for all special, incidental and consequential damages.

CLAIMS AND MERCHANDISE RETURNS
If parts are missing or received damaged, contact AMISCO within 30 days from your purchase date. All warranty claims must be sent in writing to AMISCO together with the original or photocopy of the original purchase receipt. AMISCO reserves the right to ascertain the basis for a request and to demand justification pieces. Defective merchandise may not be returned until receipt of AMISCO's written authorization and shipping instructions are given. AMISCO reserves the right to replace merchandise deemed defective with similar merchandise of same value if original merchandise is no longer available.

PAINT FINISHES
All AMISCO metal furniture are powder coated, which provides a durable and environmental friendly finish for indoor use. The normal wear of the paint finish is not covered by this warranty.

SEMI-TRANSPARENT FINISH (OXIDADO)
AMISCO'S unique finish assures you that no two pieces will ever be identical since through this finish you are able to see details such as welding lines, sanding and other techniques bearing the touch of AMISCO'S many skilled metal craftsmen. A certain amount of discoloration of the steel in various spots is a natural occurrence in this process and should not be considered a defect.

Armen

Armen Living provides a one (1) year limited warranty, from date of purchase by the original Armen Living dealer, and covers Armen Living products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during normal in-home, non-commercial use. Armen Living reserves the option of how to best repair or to replace the product. This warranty does not include furniture used for commercial purposes, furniture used for outside-of-the-home applications, lack of proper care, wear and tear of upholstery such as fading or tears, or furniture damaged by acts of nature such as; flooding or rust. In no event shall the liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the defective furniture as evidenced by the original invoice.

Bassett Mirror Company

Bassett Mirror Company offers a twelve-month limited warranty to its authorized dealers (original invoice customers) for workmanship and materials on the products it manufactures. If a Bassett Mirror Company product is defective and properly reported within twelve (12) months of the date of invoice, Bassett Mirror Company will repair or replace the product at no charge to Bassett Mirror Company's original invoice customer. Any claim for any defect not properly filed and received by Bassett Mirror Company within twelve (12) months of the date of invoice will not be covered by this or any other warranty. Bassett Mirror Company has the right in its sole discretion to use either new or reconditioned replacement parts and to replace any defective product with a reconditioned or new product of the same design. Any repaired or replaced product will have a warranty for ninety (90) days following delivery subject to the same times set out herein. This warranty does not cover defects resulting from accidents, damage in transit, alterations, unauthorized repair, failure to follow instructions, misuse, fire, flood, or acts of God. Any damage caused in transit or any concealed freight damage or similar problems must be handled through a freight claim.

LIMITATIONS: IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF INVOICE. BASSETT MIRROR COMPANY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS AND WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND SUCH ARE NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY, SPECIFICALLY INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF ANY PROFIT OR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE OR INJURY CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FOR BASSETT MIRROR COMPANY PRODUCTS AND THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE AND EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL INVOICE CUSTOMER OF BASSETT MIRROR COMPANY ONLY.

Bermex

All Bermex furniture is guaranteed for one year against all manufacturing defects. In addition to a standard one year warranty on all furniture, Bermex chairs also come with a ten (10) year limited warranty against any manufacturing defects on the construction of each chair frame. All damages such as scratches, gashes, broken corners, finish or fabric imperfections due to manipulation and/or transport by the manufacturer must be claimed within 7 days from the date of delivery to the consumer in which Bermex will repair and/or replace the product with an equivalent in quality and in nature. Any claim received after this delay will automatically be refused. This standard limited warranty offered on all Bermex furniture, as well as the ten (10) year limited warranty on all chair frames, are non-transferable and only valid to the original owner from the date of delivery to the consumer. Any damages caused by fire, negligence, inadequate cleaning or usage and/or damages caused by industrial use are not covered by the Bermex Warranty. If you do encounter any problems, please contact your Bermex retailer.

BFM

The furniture in this catalog carries the following 1 year limited warranty against defects in construction to the original end user purchaser. Warranty is void if product is not maintained, altered in any fashion, mistreated or misused.

Extent of warranty is to cover workmanship and material of frames and does not cover upholstery, umbrellas or other materials. Other materials are governed by manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty does not cover normal wear & tear.

This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties express or implied and BFM Seating expressly disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose. In no instance shall BFM Seating’s liability under warranty exceed the value of the warranted item or items. Warranty as expressed does not include replacement freights or installation/removal. All warranty claims are subject to the following:

  • Consumer properly assembling KD items
  • Product is subject to normal use. Indoor furniture may not be subject to outdoor use or extremes in temperature & humidity. Outdoor furniture may not be subject to winter weather elements or excessive weather elements of any type.
  • Umbrellas should not be subject to excessive wind or used in unsafe conditions in open or closed position.
  • For any reason if any product is to be returned, a return authorization must be obtained before returning. Any product returned without a return authorization will be refused and all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the shipping party.

Callee

Callee Inc. warrants to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under residential use ONLY. The warranty does not cover upholstery or damages which result from neglect, accident, intentional misuse or acts of nature, institutional or commercial use. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, exposure to extremes in temperature or humidity, immersion in water, fading or variations of color of finish over time, scratches, blemishes or slight variations in wood grain, alterations, abuse or misuse render this warranty void. Finishes may vary in both texture and color and fall within commercial acceptability.

Tables, chairs, and barstools are intended "solely" for dining and seating. Any other use invalidates this warranty.

Claims arising under this warranty are limited "solely" to replacement or repair of defective merchandise, exclusive of pick-up, delivery, and inbound freight.

All claims under this warranty as to cause and failure are to be the sole determination of Callee Inc.

California House

Five Year Limited Warranty

This Warranty is extended by California House to the original purchaser of products manufactured by California House, which are maintained with usual care and used in ordinary residential use only.

California House warrants our products to be free of defects in material and workmanship from original date of purchase as follows:

FIVE YEARS - California House will repair or replace, at our discretion, any wood frame or assembly that structurally fails during normal home use due to a manufacturing defect for five years from the date of the original purchase by the original residential user. Should a product be discontinued within that time, California House will make every attempt to repair the item; however, if repair is not possible, we will replace the defective item with a similar product in a similar fabric and/or finish. Similarity of product, fabric, and finish will be determined solely by California House.

NOT-COVERED - Because the solid wood and hardwood veneers used in products manufactured by California House is influenced by the external environment, some parts of your furniture and/or specific conditions are not covered under this or any warranty. This warranty does not cover warping, splitting, shrinking, sticking, season splits, cracking, denting, or checking of any solid wood or veneer parts used in products manufactured by California House. To minimize these conditions, California House strongly recommends that the environment around the wood products be kept at a relative humidity of 25%-35% year round and products are stored flat, where applicable.

This warranty does not cover any natural effect in solid wood such as color variations or graining. Cloths, fabrics, leathers, or discoloring of wood finishes are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover and is void if the failure of your furniture is attributable to fire, transit related damages, any and all acts of nature, by unreasonable or abusive use, accident, alteration, or normal wear and tear. Our service and warranty policy extends only to normal residential applications and does not cover commercial, industrial, institutional, or other non-home uses.

This warranty is void if the products manufactured by California House are not unpacked, assembled, prepared, and thoroughly inspected by an authorized California House Dealer or our agent prior to delivery to the end user. See “Product Preparation" on page 4 for more details.

All warranty claims must be made through an authorized California House Dealer or agent. Please present an original, dated proof of purchase or sales invoice for any and all warranty claims along with a picture of the defect.

All service of warranty items will be provided at our manufacturing facilities in Sacramento, California. Items returned for warranty service must be shipped freight Pre-Paid with a valid Return Authorization. Any items not shipped freight Pre-Paid or with a valid Return Authorization will be refused. California House will determine if the issue is warrantable. If so, California House will make any necessary repairs or replacements and return the part freight Pre-Paid. If the issue is not deemed a manufacturing defect, California House will return Freight Collect.

California House is not responsible for the loss of use, time, inconvenience, packaging, travel, or other incidental damages. Repair or replacement of defective items will constitute complete fulfillment of this warranty. All labor costs associated with disassembling or assembling replacement items will be the responsibility of the user.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CALIFORNIA HOUSE AND/OR SELLER DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME.

Catskill Craftsmen

Damaged or Defective parts

If you are missing parts or have damaged parts do not return the unit to the store where you purchased it -- we will send replacement parts directly to you. We have a convenient email form: info@catskillcraftsmen.com that allows you to request the parts you need 24 hours a day. Most replacement parts are sent the same day via UPS.

If you would like to request parts over the telephone or need help with assembly, please call us at 607-652-7321 between 8am and 4pm EST, Monday thru Friday. If you are calling after hours, please leave a message – we return all calls.

Product Return Instructions

It is vitally important that you contact us before returning your purchased item. We will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number will be emailed to you along with return delivery instructions. Returned items must arrive no later than 10 days after the RAN has been issued.

For a full refund to be credited it must be within 30 days of sale date. The product must be completely unassembled, in its original packaging, in saleable condition, and shipped via UPS with shipping insurance. You are responsible for the return shipping cost. When you receive a tracking number from UPS, it must be emailed to us. This tracking number is our confirmation that the item has been shipped to us, and we can track the package if there are any delays. Although we expect the item delivered within 10 days after you have received your RAN, if there is an issue with the UPS delivery (weather, lost shipment, etc.) you won't be held responsible if, and only if, the tracking number has been emailed to us here at catskillcraftsmen.com. After the item is received and has been inspected, a full refund will be credited back to you.

If you want to return an item AFTER you have already assembled, or begun assembling it, please be advised that the item is now considered to be in not re-saleable condition, and a full refund cannot be made. A partial refund may be made, but it would be contingent on a full inspection of the returned product to see if any parts can be salvaged by the manufacturer, and then a refund would be made based on these findings. An inspection of an assembled (and then disassembled) or partially assembled product can take as long as two weeks and often results in a refund of a fraction of the original purchase price. To avoid a situation similar to this, we highly suggest that you completely examine the product you have purchased before beginning assembly. This way, if you see anything that would cause you to want to return the product, it can be done promptly and you can receive a full refund. We will make every effort to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase, so don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your purchase.

Canceling or Exchanging an Order Cancelling An Order

We pride ourselves on expedient shipping and quick delivery. Therefore if you want to cancel an order, contact us immediately. We will make every attempt to cancel the order before it ships. Once it is shipped via UPS, however, we cannot cancel the order, and it must be returned following the Product Return Instructions above. After your order is cancelled, or the product is returned, you will be credited a full refund.

Exchanging Products

We offer a wide range of items, so you may, after ordering, realize that another item we offer is a better fit for your kitchen. Contact us immediately, and if the order has not shipped, an exchange can easily be made. If the order has shipped, please refer to the Product Return Instructions above.

Undeliverable Order

If your order is undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete shipping address which you provided to us, and your order is returned to us, you will need to decide if another shipping attempt is to be undertaken. If you would like us to make a secondary shipping attempt, you will be responsible for the cost of the first shipping attempt. If you decide you would not like us to make a secondary shipping attempt, we will refund the purchase price less the cost of the first shipping attempt.

Because mistakes can happen, we highly recommend that you completely review the emailed order invoice when you receive it. This invoice will contain the shipping instructions we have received from you. If these shipping instructions are incorrect, contact us immediately, as we may still be able to correct the shipping instructions before the item ships.

Chintaly Imports

All metal frames, plastic, and laminate parts are guaranteed against structural failure for 6 months of normal use. The upholstery and powder coat finishes used on our products are also guaranteed for 6 months against unusual wear as long the material is cared for properly and not abused.

Chromcraft

Chromcraft warrants to the original consumer that its product is free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Commercial use voids all warranties. In the event of a defect the consumer must deliver the defective part(s) along with a dated proof of purchase, to the original dealer and request service within the warranty period. Chromcraft will replace the defective part(s) at no charge, prepaid to the dealer. No other related expenses are covered, such as labor or transportation. Chromcraft does not assume nor authorize anyone to assume it or any other obligations or liability in connection with its products. Chromcraft, the Company, disclaims any other warranties expressed or implied, in fact or by law, and of any other obligation or liability whatsoever.

Coaster

Coaster Co. Of America warrants that its merchandise are free for manufacturing defects (workmanship and/or material) and will either give credit or replace defective parts for a period of up to one (1) year from the date of purchase in accordance with the conditions set forth below.

If a manufacturing defect is found, Coaster should be notified promptly of the defect and supplied a copy of the invoice and delivery ticket. Inspection by a Coaster employee or representative may be necessary to verify that a manufacturing defect exists, or you may be required to submit samples to Coaster along with a digital image of the defects.

If a replacement is required in accordance with this warranty and the defective material or merchandise has been discontinued or unavailable, Coaster reserves the right to select and supply similar merchandise or offer full credit for the merchandise; otherwise the same material or merchandise will be supplied for replacement purposes.

Cox Manufacturing

Cox Mfg.,Co., Inc. offers a limited warranty against defective material or workmanship on the interior frame and seat construction for a period of one (1) year. We offer this to the original purchaser only. This warranty does not apply to non-residential applications.

Cox Mfg. retains the option to repair or replace the defective item or parts of the warranted product found to be defective within the terms of this warranty.

All repair charges must be authorized in writing by Cox Mfg. for warranty work. No merchandise should be returned without a “return authorization number".

Due to natural variations in wood, grain and color, consistency of wood finishes may vary slightly from pictured finish or actual wood finish sample. This should not be considered defective in the finishing process.

Leathers may have color variation within each hide and from hide to hide. Healed scars, scratches, insect bites and wrinkles are not considered defects in leather.

IFD

IFD warrants that all of its products will be free from MANUFACTURING DEFECTS and will either give credit or replace defective parts for a period of up to one (1) year from IFD’s Invoice Date in accordance with conditions below:

Inspection by an IFD employee or representative may be necessary to verify that a manufacturing defect exists. This warranty is made solely to the retailer and is not transferable under any circumstances. We will not handle claims directly from consumers; it is the Dealer’s responsibility to contact IFD with a claim. All of this criteria must be met in order for us to properly evaluate your claim.

Intercon

The manufacturer warrants the construction and workmanship of this furniture product to be free from defects in workmanship for 1 year, under normal household use and service, following date of purchase and delivery to the original customer.

    THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO:
  • A. Any product that is not properly maintained as suggested by manufacturer.
  • B. Damage to product due to neglect, accidental or intentional damage or misuse of this product.
  • C. All products intended for commercial or industrial use.
  • D. Products that are exposed to extremes in temperature and humidity, or misuse will not be warranted.
  • E. A product that has been altered, modified, or damaged as a result of repairing by anyone other than an authorized dealer or representative of the manufacturer.
 

Should service under this warranty be necessary, the consumer must return the product to an authorized Intercon dealer. Repairs and replacement under this warranty will be made by Intercon or any third party Intercon in its sole discretion authorizes at no charge to the purchaser. If the authorized dealer or factory representative finds a return to the factory necessary, all packaging and shipping costs will be prepaid by the consumer. Return shipping will be freight prepaid to the authorized dealer, making the recommendation. The consumer shall pay all costs for delivery to the dealer and for any delivery fees from the dealer to the consumer.

Expressly excluded by this warranty is liability for consequential property damages caused by misuse. This is a limited warranty.

This warranty is limited to the original purchaser of this product. This warranty will be valid provided the product is still being manufactured.

    CONSUMER WARNING AGAINST TIPPING:
    Furniture may tip over.
    To avoid damage and injury:
  • A. Never allow children or adults to climb on this furniture.
  • B. Never allow more than one drawer to be opened at one time.

Rose Products does not have an official, written warranty. During the first year after original purchase date, Creative Dinettes, Inc. will coordinate with Rose Products for the repair or replacement of merchandise with defects in construction or workmanship, at no cost to the original purchaser.

Rose Products maintains sole discretion to determine which method will be used to correct defects.

This policy does NOT apply to damages resulting from neglect, damage caused by accidental or intentional acts, institutional or commercial use, exposure to extreme or abnormal heat, cold, dryness, moisture or humidity, unauthorized repair or alteration, and misuse or abuse of the products. It also does NOT cover damage that results from normal wear including, but not limited to, scratches, burns, water marks or indentations.

Sunpan

All finishes and all parts and components of new furniture and merchandise (our "Products") are warranted by Sunpan Trading & Importing Inc. to you, the consumer, for ONE YEAR from your date of purchase from the retailer, to be free from defective material and manufacturing defects only ("Defects") under normal use, as set out herein, and subject to the provisions, limitations and exclusions contained in this Warranty (the "Warranty"). Under this Warranty, Sunpan’s liability is limited to replace the defective part or component, repair the defective Product or replace the defective Product. Sunpan’s first option is to supply replacement parts to remedy the defect and if this is not possible, then the defective product may be replaced or repaired at our discretion. If minor repairs can correct he problem, then Sunpan may approve reasonable and customary labour rates before repairs are made, in which case Sunpan shall reimburse you for such repair costs upon receipt of Invoice paid by you for such repair. Sunpan will not be responsible for costs to transpot the defective Products to your place of purchase (the retailer). This warranty provides coverage to theo riginal-purchaser only and is not transferrable under any circumstances. This Warranty covers Defects when used for residential and non-residential uses. Warranty is void if non-contract viable product is placed in a commercial or non-residential setting. The Warranty dos not apply to any condition or damage which is not a Defect, including without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any condition or damge resulting from neglect, misuse or abuse, accident, un-reasonable or unintended strain or use, or any condition reslting from incorrect or inadequate aintenance, cleaning or care, or any damage to or failure of the finish resulting from alcohol, water, fabric dye transfer, or cleaning substance or liquid damage, exposure to sunlight, household humidity, or incorrect application of chemical treatment or any preotective coating applied by the retailer or consumer. Any credit notes applied to an account as a result of returns or damages must be used towards future orders within one year from issue. Any unused credits will expire after this allotted time.

A claim under this warranty must be made within the Warranty period. If Defectss are found, it is the consumer’s responsibility to contact the retailer (the place of purchase) immediately, and otify them of the Defects. Do not contact Sunpan with a Warranty claim.

THIS LMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND CONTAINS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTY RIGHTS OF THE PURCHASER. SUNPAN MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH EXCEED THE OBLIGATIONS OR TIME LIMITS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY SUNPAN AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY. THE PURCHASER AND SUNPAN EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT THE SLE REMEDY OF THE REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR COMPONENT THEREOF IS THE SOLE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. SUNPAN MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTAION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL SUNPAN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS RELATED TO PROPERTY OTHER THAN THE PRODUCTS, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE OR OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS.

Sunset Trading

Sunset Trading chairs are covered under our 2 Year Limited Warranty.

All other products are covered under our limited 90 Day Warranty.

Sunset Trading thoroughly inspects each item before leaving the facility. It is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 90 days (2 years for chairs) from the original purchase. Should any trouble develop during the 90 day period (2 years for chairs), return the item freight prepaid to your authorized dealer. If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Sunset Trading will repair (or, at our option, replace) without charge.

    This warranty does not apply where:
  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
  • Repairs are required due to normal wear and tear.
  • The item has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
  • Alterations have been made to the item.
 

In no event shall Sunset Trading be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from the sale or use of this product. This disclaimer applies both during and after the term of the warranty.

Sunset Trading disclaims liability for any implied warranties, including implied warranties of "merchantability" and "fitness for a specific purpose" after the 90 day term (2 year term for chairs) of this warranty.

Trica

    WARRANTY FOR RESIDENTIAL USE:
  • The original buyer of a Trica product has a 10-year limited warranty covering any metal structure defects or any defects in fabrication resulting from human error.

  • Swivel plates are covered under a 10-year limited warranty for any fabrication defects.

  • External features, fabric coverings and seams are covered under a 1 -year limited warranty for any fabrication defects.

  • The normal wear and tear of the components mentioned above and paint finishes are not covered under this warranty.

  • Trica's responsibility will be the replacement of defective components/parts that are under warranty.

  • In order to benefit from Trica's warranty, the distributor must supply a proof of purchase where the purchase date and the description of the product are clearly identifiable.

  • At no time-will trica be held responsible for labor and/or transportation costs between the distributor and his customer, such costs resulting from a service request.

  • This warranty is limited in that it does not cover any article not specifically mentioned. Except where stated by law, trica will not be held liable for any instances of incidental, consequential or special damages.

  • The commercial use of trica products cancels the above-mentioned warranty for residential use, except in-the case of addition of a commercial warranty as stated below.

 
    WARRANTY FOR COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL USE:
  • As a north-american manufacturer of tubular furniture, trica offers to its distributors a commercial and institutional limited warranty.

  • The "commercial option" warranty is available by adding:
    • $15.00 per barstool
    • $7.00 per chair or table

  • The details of this warranty are the same as the warranty for residential use, except for:
    • A 1-year limited warranty covering any soldering and metal structure defects or any defects in fabrication resulting from human error... (see residential)

  • If the distributor refuses the "commercial option", the Trica product warranty will only cover manufacturing defects and will be limited to 30 days following the date of invoicing.

Tennessee Enterprises, Inc. Requires 3 steps in taking care of defected Merchandise.

Tennessee Enterprises, Inc. TEI warrants its products to be free of manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from TEI’s date of invoice to our dealer. Tennessee Enterprises, Inc. will repair, replace, or provide a substitute for, any piece or part found by TEI to be defective in material or workmanship within this warranty period. Shipping costs are not covered under this warranty. Al returns are subject to inspection prior to acceptance. TEI does not warrant its casters or any type of hardware. This warranty applies under conditions of normal household use. It does not apply to fading from direct sunlight, improper cleaning, misuse, accident or commercial use. This warranty does not apply to purchases of as-is products or display samples.

Wesley Allen/Westgate

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Wesley Allen, Inc. ("Wesley Allen") warrants to the original consumer purchaser that its furniture will be free from defects in material and workmanship under conditions of normal household use for as long as original purchaser owns the furniture. Any furniture, or component part thereof, which is found to be defective in material and workmanship under conditions of normal household use will be, at Wesley Allen's option, repaired or replaced with like furniture or furniture of comparable quality and value. Said repair or replacement will be without charge, but all transportation charges on shipments both to and from Wesley Allen are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser and may be enforced only by that purchaser. This warranty does not apply to furniture that has been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence, or accident, or to defects or damages which are caused by improper use, care, assembly, modification, alteration, service or repair. This warranty does not apply to floor models, link springs, trundle units, or upholstery. This warranty is limited to usage of the furniture for household use only and does not apply to commercial usage.

WARRANTY SERVICE.

To obtain warranty service the purchaser must send written notice of claim to Wesley Allen Warranty Department, 1001 East 60th St., Los Angeles, CA 90001 -1098. The notice must include the warranty, a brief description of the furniture and the claimed defect, and a copy of the original purchase receipt. PROOF OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE IS REQUIRED FOR ANY WARRANTY SERVICE.

After receipt of written notice, Wesley Allen will provide the purchaser with written authorization for the return of the furniture or component part thereof. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM WESLEY ALLEN. WESLEY ALLEN'S WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FOR RETURN IS NOT AN ACCEPTANCE OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PURCHASER'S WARRANTY CLAIM.

Within 30 days from the date of authorization, the purchaser must ship, with proper packaging, transportation charges prepaid, the furniture or component part authorized for return to the address specified on the written authorization provided by Wesley Allen. The furniture must be properly packaged for shipment and the shipping label must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipping carton. Wesley Allen will not be responsible for any repair or replacement of furniture damaged or lost in shipment.

THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN. THE FOREGOING SHALL CONSTITUTE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER AND THE EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY OF WESLEY ALLEN.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion do not apply to you. No agent, employee or representative of Wesley Allen or any other person is authorized to modify this warranty in any respect. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

All products are coated with a powder paint that is electrostatically applied and baked on to provide a long lasting, chip resistant finish. All custom finishes are hand applied. Due to the individual craftsmanship in application, changes in dye lots and weather conditions, some slight variations in tone, hue and shading are not considered as a manufacturer's defect. Any standard bed frame may be used with the headboards.

SAFETY NOTE: Please supervise children when playing on or around any furniture. A child may become trapped between a mattress and headboard/footboard or trapped between the bars in the headboard/footboard, for instance, causing various· injuries. Our furniture is not intended for play, and we strongly suggest adherence to their intended use.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Polishing is never required. An occasional wiping with a soft, damp cloth will easily remove surface dust. Polishes, chemicals or abrasive cleaners should never be used. Skin creams, hair sprays, and other solvents may contain chemicals that may adversely affect the painted finish.

Zuo Modern guarantees all furniture against defects in construction for a period of ONE year for Non-contract items and THREE years for Contract items. When a structural defect is brought to our attention, we will repair or replace it at our option at no cost to the customer (labor excluded)

General Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to merchandise sold "as is". Defects caused by customer abuse or negligence are not covered. Fabric wear-ability and color fastness for upholstered furniture are not covered by this warranty. The liability of seller for any defect in the affected goods shall be limited to repairing or replacing goods., whichever seller shall elect. Seller’s option to repair or replace is hereby expressly agreed to be buyer’s sole remedy. Under no circumstances shall seller be liable for incidental or consequential damages for breach of warranty of merchantability or for any other reason.
